Privacy Policy
Tada! Tuner ("the app") is an instrument tuner with chord practice and a sheet-music reader. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We designed the app to keep your data on your device wherever possible.
1. Information the app handles

2. What we do not do
- We do not record, store, or transmit microphone audio.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, contacts, or precise location.
3. Third-party services
The app uses the following Google services. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Firebase (AI Logic / Vertex AI for sheet-music recognition, App Check, Analytics)
- Google Play services and Google Play Billing
- Google AdMob
4. Permissions
- Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): required for tuning and chord practice. The app does nothing with the microphone until you grant permission, and you can revoke it at any time in system settings.
- Camera / Photos: the app opens your device's camera app or photo picker to obtain a picture of a score. It does not access your camera or photo library directly.
- Internet: used only for sheet-music recognition, purchases, analytics, and ads.
5. Data retention and deletion
Everything the app stores lives on your device and is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Photos sent for recognition are processed to produce a result and are not retained by us. Analytics data is retained by Google according to its Firebase retention settings (up to 14 months) in aggregated form.
6. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security
Cloud features are protected by Firebase App Check so that only the genuine app can use them, and all network traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above.
